PepMate Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the PepMate mobile app and the PepMate website at pepmate.app. By using PepMate, you agree to these Terms.

1. What PepMate Is

PepMate is a personal tracking and reminder tool for clinician-directed medications and wellness logs. PepMate helps you store medication names, container amounts, dose amounts you enter, reminder schedules, injection site notes, nutrition logs, activity goals, and related local preferences.

PepMate is not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, prescriber, emergency medical service, or medical device. PepMate does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. PepMate does not prescribe medications, recommend medications or peptides, calculate dosing, or provide medical advice.

Always follow the instructions from your licensed clinician and medication label. For medical questions, side effects, missed doses, dosing decisions, or emergencies, contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services.

2. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter into PepMate and for confirming that medication names, amounts, schedules, reminders, and notes match your clinician's instructions or medication label.

PepMate reminders are convenience tools only. They may be delayed, missed, silenced, or disabled because of device settings, operating system limits, battery settings, permissions, connectivity, or other conditions. Do not rely on PepMate as your only source for medication instructions or time-sensitive medical care.

3. Subscriptions And Purchases

PepMate may offer auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system. Subscription details, prices, trial availability, renewal periods, and cancellation options are shown in the app and in the App Store purchase sheet before purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged through Apple. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.

If a free trial is offered, unused trial time may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by Apple. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's App Store terms and policies.

4. Privacy

PepMate's privacy practices are described in the Privacy Policy at:

Most PepMate app data is stored locally on your device. Subscription purchase processing is handled by Apple and RevenueCat so PepMate can validate receipts, restore purchases, and unlock paid features.

5. Apple Health

Apple Health connection is optional. If enabled, PepMate reads only step count to show daily progress. PepMate does not write Health data and does not use Health data for advertising, marketing, analytics, data mining, or tracking.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse PepMate, attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the app or service, use PepMate for unlawful purposes, or use PepMate to make medical decisions without qualified professional guidance.

7. Intellectual Property

PepMate, including its name, app design, text, graphics, and software, is owned by the PepMate developer or licensed to the developer. You may use PepMate only as permitted by these Terms and applicable app store rules.

8. No Warranty

PepMate is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, PepMate makes no warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or suitable for your particular needs.

9. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PepMate and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from missed reminders, user-entered errors, device settings, health decisions, or reliance on PepMate as medical advice.

10. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The updated Terms will include a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of PepMate after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
